About

Leadership from the Inside Out: Transforming Leaders, Teams, and Organisations

01

My Story

I help leaders rethink leadership in a way that grants them permission to be who they are, to recognise that they are enough, and to stand confidently in their unique brilliance. This isn’t just my work—it’s my purpose, deeply rooted in my own transformative journey.

You see, our stories shape who we are, don’t they? Mine has been one of profound loss, growth, and a relentless pursuit of meaning. It’s led me to weave together the wisdom of Eastern philosophy and ancient practices with the rigour of Western psychology—creating an approach that’s genuinely transformational for my clients.

I’ve also lived and breathed the corporate world, climbing the ladder and carving out a successful career. I’ve held senior positions and Board roles that gave me first-hand experience of the challenges leaders face daily. I’ve worked with many FTSE 250 organisations across a wide range of market sectors and in multiple countries, learning what it truly takes to lead—and designing transformational programs that deliver lasting change.

02

Where It All Began

I come from a dual-heritage background: my father was Jamaican, my mother white and English. Growing up in the RAF community, surrounded by diversity and frequent change, I learned early on to embrace difference and love change. In that safe and inclusive environment, I belonged.

But when we returned to England, that belonging was shattered. I looked, sounded, and saw the world differently from my peers. My broader perspective was uncomfortable for some, so I turned to books, becoming a lifelong learner. Being different became my strength, teaching me resilience and shaping my mind in ways I’m deeply grateful for.

03

A Turning Point

When my father was made redundant from the RAF, civilian life didn’t offer the same acceptance. He faced daily racism—both institutional and societal. That loss of belonging and the pressure to “fit in” broke him. He took his own life when I was just 18. Ten years later, my mother, unable to bear her grief, also took her life. Those experiences shook me to my core.

But they also sparked my transformative journey.

04

Finding Meaning in Tragedy

I sought answers in the face of overwhelming loss, training as a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and exploring modalities like Voice Dialogue, Psychosynthesis, and NLP. I immersed myself in healing techniques from both the East and the West, becoming a Mindfulness Teacher, Reiki healer, Master Executive Coach, Master Team Coach. I created  a multifaceted toolkit for driving transformational change. I learned that healing is about attending to mind, body, and soul. One without the others isn’t enough.

At the same time, my corporate journey gave me a deep understanding of the pressures and complexities leaders face. Leading transformational programs across sectors and countries allowed me to see not only what challenges leaders, but also what truly empowers them to succeed.

05

The Lessons That Guide Me

Through my journey, three key learnings have shaped me:

  1. Finding Meaning and Purpose – Life’s challenges can push us to grow if we embrace them.

  2. Belonging and Inclusion – Exclusion wounds deeply, but true inclusion heals and connects.

  3. Purpose-Driven Leadership – Leadership isn’t just about strategy; it’s about empathy, resilience, and a deep understanding of yourself and others.

06

Why I Do What I Do

Leadership today is about more than hitting targets. It’s about fostering cultures of connection, inclusion, and shared purpose. I believe we’re souls having a human experience—energy and light. We thrive when we honor our whole selves, and that’s what I bring to my work.

My Rethinking Leadership approach blends the spiritual with the practical.

It’s a whole-body, whole-being method that helps leaders:

  • Connect deeply with themselves and others.

  • Make empowered choices rooted in self-awareness.

  • Create workplaces that balance metrics with meaning.

07

The Ripple Effect

I’ve dedicated my career to creating communities where leaders learn the power of shared experiences. These collectives foster mutual support and accountability, generating a ripple effect that transforms not only leaders but their teams, organisations, and beyond.

This work is deeply personal to me. I know the damage disconnection can cause—it tore through my own family. But I also know the healing power of awareness, inclusion, and purposeful leadership. Just one person making a different choice can send ripples of change far beyond what they imagine.

08

My Purpose

I stand at the intersection of corporate leadership and spirituality. It’s about bridging the gap between the professional world's fast-paced demands and the deeper, reflective aspects of our human experience. It’s about creating workplaces that are not just successful but fulfilling, ethical, and compassionate.

In speaking to you today, I hope to inspire you to join me in creating a wave of positive change. Together, we can energise those ripples into something powerful—a movement capable of reshaping lives, workplaces, and the energy of the universe itself.

Let’s rethink leadership, one ripple at a time.
